In the 2nd match minute, Brazil Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio Dante to maneuver through the defense. João Couto struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Raimundo Dorio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brazil Academy. 13 minutes in the game Dobromir Lamczyk did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Dobromir Lamczyk. 17 minutes into the match, Flan Mixto FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Couto came free, but Raimundo Dorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Jonathan Yang recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Franklin Linhares. Jonathan Yang showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Raimundo Dorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Couto, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Dobromir Lamczyk got a throw-in 26 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Santos Ricart. After having played for 30 minutes, João Couto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brazil Academy's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Couto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Flan Mixto FC's goal looked a bit too open when João Couto came free, but Raimundo Dorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Franklin Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Yang in the 38th minute of play. Raimundo Dorio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto-Carlos Neymar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Jonathan Yang took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Franklin Linhares to make any attempt to save it. After 46 minutes, João Couto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brazil Academy and the Flan Mixto FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Flan Mixto FC booed when Brazil Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When Gildo Braga fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brazil Academy's protests and gave Gildo Braga a yellow card for diving instead. João Couto got his second yellow card in the match during the 56th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Flan Mixto FC booed when Brazil Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 60 minutes into the game, Cosme Henry was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flan Mixto FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brazil Academy the free kick. In the 60th minute, one of Flan Mixto FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Flan Mixto FC. Raimundo Dorio had in the 62ndth minute some difficulties stopping Beto Soeiro's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball Luciano Baltazar's late challenge caught a Brazil Academy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luciano Baltazar helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Flan Mixto FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Brazil Academy:s goal. Brazil Academy's Franklin Linhares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Yang in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto-Carlos Neymar in the 71st minute of play forced Flan Mixto FC's goalkeeper Raimundo Dorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flan Mixto FC made a substitution. Eustacio Otsoa replaced Santos Ricart. Flan Mixto FC's Luciano Baltazar managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Gildo Braga in the 74 minute of the game. Franklin Linhares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Placido Lando's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Placido Lando put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Franklin Linhares. The referee gave Flan Mixto FC a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Celestino Iruinea, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Brazil Academy's Franklin Linhares. 4-0. In the 87th minute, Placido Lando ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franklin Linhares was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Franklin Linhares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Yang in the 92nd minute of play. In the 102nd minute, Eustacio Otsoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Flan Mixto FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Brazil Academy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
