Ricardo Zamora made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anak Dewa in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the game, Semih Şentürk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ricardo Zamora was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ricardo Zamora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fábio Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Calopsita EC's Marcus Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Lopez in the 10th minute of play. Luiz Fábio Arósio charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luiz Fábio Arósio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luiz Fábio Arósio hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Jairo Meirelles took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcus Taffarel. Calopsita EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcus Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Machado in the 17th minute of the match. Luiz Fábio Arósios short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Ricardo Zamora to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisão Marinho in the 23rd minute of play forced Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ricardo Zamora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 26th minute, when Luisão Marinho scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Zamora, making the score, 2-1. Edu Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anak Dewa kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Marcus Taffarel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademar Castro in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute Anak Dewa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Zamora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Narciso Lopez made a kick off. The corner led Calopsita EC's Luiz Fábio Arósio to fire away a dangerous shot which Ricardo Zamora despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Narciso Lopez in the 62nd minute of play forced Calopsita EC's goalkeeper Marcus Taffarel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Zamora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fábio Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Narciso Lopez in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Marcus Taffarel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Lopez, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Jairo Meirelles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute Narciso Lopez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Magnifico FC - FSCMZ's Ricardo Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fábio Arósio in the 87th minute of play. In the last second Marcus Taffarel throw himself and got hold of the ball when Narciso Lopez in the 89thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 91st minute, Manoel Macedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Zamora came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Calopsita EC's Luiz Fábio Arósio. But to his dismay, Luiz Fábio Arósio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
