The referee ignored SS SuperSonics's protests and gave Miguel Almiron a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SS SuperSonics getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Miguel Almiron hit a great ball. Muhammed-Emir Benice took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jerzy Dudek. SS SuperSonics's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Oldham Athletic played a much better game than SS SuperSonics and deserved their victory. The SS SuperSonics players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
