In the 4th minute Antonin Leroyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fryderyk Budzynski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, FC Autolycus's Pablo Viator sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victoriano Bernaldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Autolycus's goalkeeper Fryderyk Budzynski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Florencio Carlomagno came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Dep Colonia Avellaneda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florencio Carlomagno couldn't finish the play. After 15 minutes of play, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fryderyk Budzynski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leopoldo Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fryderyk Budzynski having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Herbert Kaznocha notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo. Victoriano Bernaldo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pablo Viator. Leopoldo Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoriano Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Kaznocha in the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Jacobo Policarpio got a free kick in the 47th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Pablo Viator managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Autolycus's supporters rose to their feet, but Pablo Viator was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victoriano Bernaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pablo Viator to make the kick off. FC Autolycus's Fryderyk Budzynski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Rosa in the 59th minute of play. Leopoldo Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Viator received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Victoriano Bernaldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fryderyk Budzynski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Rosa in the 65th minute of the match. If Pablo Viator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Darryl Buckner got free with Fryderyk Budzynski in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leopoldo Rosa in the 84th minute. The corner led Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner to fire away a dangerous shot which Fryderyk Budzynski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Herbert Kaznocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pascual Lesardo fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dep Colonia Avellaneda's protests and gave Pascual Lesardo a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Dep Colonia Avellaneda:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC Autolycus:s goal. The FC Autolycus support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
