Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Staalfos in the 36th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Augustin Staalfos in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hílton Magalhães saved Botinho FC from getting behind. Hílton Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eckhardt Brøbech in the 40th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Botinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eckhardt Brøbech came free, but Hílton Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Augustin Staalfos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hílton Magalhães was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Augustin Staalfos was the one to do the kick off.
