With a little luck, Arrozal FC's Perivaldo Saraiva got control of the ball when Peep Pronk tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Pedro Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC LeX Luthor's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perivaldo Saraiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peep Pronk might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Perivaldo Saraiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peep Pronk ran back to his position shaking his head. Peep Pronk had several of the Arrozal FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Perivaldo Saraiva as he didn't even see the shot coming. 13 minutes into the game, Peep Pronk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Perivaldo Saraiva was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Farias in the 16th minute of play. If Peep Pronk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peep Pronk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Perivaldo Saraiva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. When Umberto Barros fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arrozal FC's protests and gave Umberto Barros a yellow card for diving instead. Umberto Barros hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After having played for 39 minutes, Karl-Axel Kielstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC LeX Luthor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl-Axel Kielstedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute of the match AC LeX Luthor got a corner. Arrozal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Yepes ran over to the corner to take the kick. AC LeX Luthor's Mario Yepes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Perivaldo Saraiva in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Nelson Lago kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arrozal FC's goalkeeper Perivaldo Saraiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.
Peep Pronk scored 6-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Perivaldo Saraiva, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Arrozal FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Thomás de Sena hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, AC LeX Luthor's Mario Yepes tried to score from far away in the 58th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Peep Pronk managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC LeX Luthor's supporters rose to their feet, but Peep Pronk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perivaldo Saraiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 70 minutes into the match, Peep Pronk notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Arrozal FC's Perivaldo Saraiva. Perivaldo Saraiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alvaro Errando in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Perivaldo Saraiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Perivaldo Saraiva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Errando's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 82 minutes into the game, AC LeX Luthor's Alvaro Errando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Perivaldo Saraiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. In the 86th minute Alvaro Errando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perivaldo Saraiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Alvaro Errando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Perivaldo Saraiva didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Errando went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. AC LeX Luthor walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
