Chupan Doar charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chupan Doar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Wilton Vale sped through EoDu Uai Sôccer's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of José-Luis Chilavert. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Tinoco during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, one of TAQUARI FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for TAQUARI FC. 13 minutes into the game, Severino Bueno cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rodolfo Salgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rodolfo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Bueno in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute Severino Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Salgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute, Wilton Vale made a precise shot to the right of José-Luis Chilavert. EoDu Uai Sôccer's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After having played for 31 minutes, Wilton Vale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TAQUARI FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilton Vale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. José-Luis Chilavert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilton Vale in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Ernani Souto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jardel Cabezon hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severino Bueno made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in EoDu Uai Sôccer's zone, Wilton Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José-Luis Chilavert came out of the goal and Wilton Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joakim Felin hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, TAQUARI FC's Joakim Felin got a free kick in the 61st minute. TAQUARI FC's Rodolfo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jardel Cabezon in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jardel Cabezon. José-Luis Chilavert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilton Vale in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, TAQUARI FC's Wilton Vale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José-Luis Chilavert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. TAQUARI FC made a substitution. Geraldo Moura replaced Kabiru Rotimi. Jardel Cabezon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Rodolfo Salgado made a huge save. With his leg Rodolfo Salgado managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when EoDu Uai Sôccer's Jardel Cabezon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. José-Luis Chilavert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilton Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in EoDu Uai Sôccer's zone, Ernani Souto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José-Luis Chilavert came out of the goal and Ernani Souto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84thth minute of the game Wilton Vale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EoDu Uai Sôccer's José-Luis Chilavert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodolfo Salgado made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Jardel Cabezon sent off a good shot on target. The referee felt a red card was in order, 97 minutes into the game, when Chupan Doar put in a rough tackle. The goalkeeper, Rodolfo Salgado, was totally fooled by EoDu Uai Sôccer's Severino Bueno, who 98 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. For all the effort they put into the match, the EoDu Uai Sôccer players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for TAQUARI FC.
