An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Mendebal in the 10th minute of play forced Botinho FC's goalkeeper Hílton Magalhães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Filomeno Mendebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Ivo Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Los Materos FC's Roland Danielsson tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno Mendebal in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hílton Magalhães saved Botinho FC from getting behind. Hílton Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Danielsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Hílton Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Abajas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filomeno Mendebal in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hílton Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Lazaros Kabantais successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filomeno Mendebal in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hílton Magalhães prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Mendebal in the 39th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Filomeno Mendebal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hílton Magalhães was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. When Los Materos FC's Filomeno Mendebal in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Simon Diaz hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Botinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Mendebal came free, but Hílton Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filomeno Mendebal was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Horacio Abajas notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães. Hílton Magalhães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hílton Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Filomeno Mendebal sent off a good shot on target. After 65 played minutes Botinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Dionísio. Teobald Gacki in the 67thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Hílton Magalhães, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teobald Gacki got free with Hílton Magalhães in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, Los Materos FC's Teobald Gacki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hílton Magalhães narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teobald Gacki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobald Gacki in the 76th minute of play. Hílton Magalhães didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Los Materos FC's Teobald Gacki shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. After 83 played minutes Botinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Wilian Breckenfeld. 84 minutes into the match, Botinho FC's goal looked a bit too open when Teobald Gacki came free, but Hílton Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Los Materos FC's Pierre-Loup Villaume got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hílton Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Teobald Gacki sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the game, Teobald Gacki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Hílton Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Los Materos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los Materos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
