Misericordia EC's Paulo Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charly Good in the 8th minute of play. Paulo Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maureen Franco in the 13th minute of play. Maximo Horquizar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faustão Terra in the 14th minute of the match. After 23 minutes of play, Sporting Buceo's Xavies Casavela made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paulo Leão was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Sporting Buceo defense, Sergio-Roberto Dinamite kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximo Horquizar. The Sporting Buceo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximo Horquizar should have stopped the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valdomiro Luz was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Maureen Franco hit a great ball. Paulo Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filcho Kordov in the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdomiro Luz in the 62nd minute of play forced Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Maximo Horquizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sporting Buceo made a substitution. Charly Good replaced Xavies Casavela. In the 73rd match minute, Sporting Buceo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filcho Kordov to maneuver through the defense. Misericordia EC's Paulo Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Misericordia EC from getting a goal against them. Faustão Terra took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximo Horquizar. Maximo Horquizar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 82nd minute Valdomiro Luz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Horquizar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wei Le Fei in the 87th minute. Misericordia EC's Paulo Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charly Good in the 89th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Misericordia EC's goal looked a bit too open when Charly Good came free, but Paulo Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Terra came free, but Maximo Horquizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Misericordia EC's Paulo Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xinto Carreiras in the 92nd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Xinto Carreiras notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Misericordia EC's Paulo Leão. Paulo Leão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
