Valar morghulis's İsa Fındık got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gökay Ömür fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaljo Müürsepp having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Villem Ärsis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Blanco Dueñas. Valar morghulis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Villem Ärsis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Vormsi Vald's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Bryan Ruiz in the 94th minute. The corner led Vormsi Vald's Bryan Ruiz to fire away a dangerous shot which Blanco Dueñas despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vormsi Vald players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Valar morghulis.
