After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Unión's Godfredo Bastia got a free kick in the 10th minute. Club Atlético Unión's Artur Malewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xu Le Shu in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Cristofor in the 14th minute of play forced SRP-Laguna's goalkeeper Anderson Laguna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Victorino Cristofor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xu Le Shu in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Malewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conrado de Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anderson Laguna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Cristofor in the 52nd minute of the match. The supporters of Club Atlético Unión booed when SRP-Laguna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emirşah Öktemer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
