Aureliano Dalmai blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Osmar Antunes having to make a save. Osmar Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Dalmai in the 31st minute of play. With a little luck, Los VagiHuevos's Nunez Raymundo got control of the ball when Ovidio Raymundo tried to sneak it across the goal line. XV de Indaial's Josué Galvão got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Los VagiHuevos's Sebastian Piekarczyk shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 63rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Osmar Antunes but with some difficulty. Los VagiHuevos's Anana Pechon was substituted for Fabricio Bustos. In the 68th minute, Osvaldinho de Sena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nunez Raymundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Raymundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Benito Montes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Osmar Antunes firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nunez Raymundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Raymundo in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute Benito Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar Antunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89thth minute of the game Stein Gulliksen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XV de Indaial's Osmar Antunes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stein Gulliksen in the 91st minute of play forced XV de Indaial's goalkeeper Osmar Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benito Montes got free with Osmar Antunes in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to XV de Indaial getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. João Augusto Araújo hit a great ball.
