Spectators: 152 (Terracing: 114, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leonard Grabski started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Szarmach in the 3rd minute of play forced Deportivo Marplatense's goalkeeper Mikael Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Cristobal Eneto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Pawel Wodaszak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th minute Cristobal Eneto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pawel Wodaszak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Szczepan Szarmach in the 21st minute of play forced Deportivo Marplatense's goalkeeper Mikael Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Krzysztof Nakonieczny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mikael Sjögren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cezary Zurawski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute Cristobal Eneto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pawel Wodaszak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mikael Sjögren was out of position in the 43 minute of play, and Szczepan Szarmach capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Szczepan Szarmach really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Szczepan Szarmach got free with Mikael Sjögren in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Cristobal Eneto was slow to take the kick. During this time Deportivo Marplatense's players had a chance to rest. In the 61st minute, Cristobal Eneto made a precise shot to the right of Pawel Wodaszak. PatiCarRent's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Eneto in the 64th minute of play forced PatiCarRent's goalkeeper Pawel Wodaszak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cristobal Eneto scored 1-4 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pawel Wodaszak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mikael Sjögren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cezary Zurawski in the 70th minute of the match. Pawel Wodaszak came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Marplatense's Cristobal Eneto. But to his dismay, Cristobal Eneto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. In the 82nd minute, Cristobal Eneto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Deportivo Marplatense getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Adolfo Raebert hit a great ball. When PatiCarRent's Slawomir Sochacki in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Deportivo Marplatense's goalie prevented a goal. 87 minutes into the game, Bülent Rezzak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PatiCarRent's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Marplatense the free kick. The supporters of Deportivo Marplatense booed when PatiCarRent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bülent Rezzak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Szczepan Szarmach in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mikael Sjögren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mikael Sjögren came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by PatiCarRent's Szczepan Szarmach. But to his dismay, Szczepan Szarmach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. The Deportivo Marplatense supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Deportivo Marplatense would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
