Eriberto Bonadona came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by ACF Fiorentina's Isaac Intxixu. But to his dismay, Isaac Intxixu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Mira United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Intxixu came free, but Eriberto Bonadona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Bonadona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ariel Jesus in the 13th minute of the match. Eriberto Bonadona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Intxixu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ACF Fiorentina's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ciriaco Urdaspal in the 17th minute. Dércio Moreira tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Eriberto Bonadona. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 18th minute. Eriberto Bonadona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bengt-Rune Fastesson in the 25th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Nel Ybarbo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Federico Kalinowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 32 minutes into the match, Mira United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Intxixu came free, but Eriberto Bonadona reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, ACF Fiorentina's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Ramires came free, but Federico Kalinowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaac Intxixu in the 41st minute of play forced Mira United FC's goalkeeper Eriberto Bonadona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregório Neiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Federico Kalinowski made a huge save. In a very dangerous position, a player in ACF Fiorentina fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! ACF Fiorentina:s Federico Kalinowski showed great skill when he stopped Gregório Neiva:s penalty. After 46 minutes of play, Mira United FC's Gregório Neiva made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Federico Kalinowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gregório Neiva to make the kick off. ACF Fiorentina's Federico Kalinowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregório Neiva in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Isaac Intxixu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Federico Kalinowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Ramires in the 60th minute of play. ACF Fiorentina's Maximino Cabezon was substituted for Bengt-Rune Fastesson. Mira United FC's Dércio Moreira quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Hu Xi, made in the 63rd minute of the game. Hu Xi made in the 66th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ciriaco Urdaspal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademar Ramires in the 67th minute of play forced ACF Fiorentina's goalkeeper Federico Kalinowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77thth minute of the game Isaac Intxixu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mira United FC's Eriberto Bonadona was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. ACF Fiorentina were awarded a corner in the 88th minute after Mira United FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ciriaco Urdaspal took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ciriaco Urdaspal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Eriberto Bonadona quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gregório Neiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Federico Kalinowski having to make a save. Federico Kalinowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregório Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ACF Fiorentina had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
