With an all-out effort, Bermejo Club's Aquiles Ellande threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Johan Kiewit, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A nice corner shot did that Antônio Carlos Xavier got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aquiles Ellande quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Fredrik Alebeck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aquiles Ellande read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Leandro Munio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rene Egoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute.
