In the 8th minute Eloy Dimas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soriano Espiñeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by Trinchera FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Carlos Gustavo Caicedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Navalito's players had a chance to rest. In the 14th minute, Nicanor Parra reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Herminio Roderigo. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 17th minute Generoso Frances shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soriano Espiñeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Generoso Frances managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trinchera FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Generoso Frances was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Soriano Espiñeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Soriano Espiñeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Dimas in the 25th minute of the match. Nicanor Parra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herminio Roderigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. A collision led to Navalito getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Ceandro Maettig hit a great ball. Nicanor Parra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Herminio Roderigo made a huge save. 38 minutes into the match, Nicanor Parra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herminio Roderigo. Trinchera FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicanor Parra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Soriano Espiñeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Dimas in the 40th minute of the match. Nicanor Parra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herminio Roderigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Frances in the 46th minute of play forced Navalito's goalkeeper Soriano Espiñeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicanor Parra stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roque Pero in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Soriano Espiñeira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Nicanor Parra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Navalito's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Parra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herminio Roderigo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Navalito made a substitution. Isidoro Young replaced Nicanor Parra. After 69 played minutes Navalito got a freekick which was hit by Williams Rebolledo. Isidoro Young sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roque Pero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Soriano Espiñeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Herminio Roderigo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Young, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Gustavo Caicedo in the 82nd minute of play forced Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Herminio Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rdth minute of the game Isidoro Young who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trinchera FC's Herminio Roderigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sebastian Celio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidoro Young blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herminio Roderigo having to make a save. Herminio Roderigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Young in the 88th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Young in the 89th minute of play forced Trinchera FC's goalkeeper Herminio Roderigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nazario Urtubia hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 92 minutes into the match, Navalito's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Celio came free, but Soriano Espiñeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th match minute, Navalito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Williams Rebolledo to maneuver through the defense. After 95 played minutes Navalito got a freekick which was hit by Enric Mira. Eloy Dimas struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Soriano Espiñeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trinchera FC. Trinchera FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
