KV Schoonwater's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kris Boolsen ran over to the corner to take the kick. Amager FC's Kris Boolsen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Henk Jonckers in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. KV Schoonwater's Henk Jonckers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Strømvad in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Sven-Edvin Viklund notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Amager FC's Kenneth Strandsgaard. Kenneth Strandsgaard was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Henk Jonckers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amin Rostvold, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Amager FC's Birger Strømvad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henk Jonckers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Kenneth Strandsgaard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alek De Hondt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Amin Rostvold came free, but Henk Jonckers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute, Frederick Demeester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henk Jonckers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birger Strømvad in the 22nd minute of play. Henk Jonckers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birger Strømvad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 25 played minutes KV Schoonwater got a freekick which was hit by Reinard Billen. 28 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Strømvad came free, but Henk Jonckers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute Birger Strømvad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henk Jonckers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Henk Jonckers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Birger Strømvad went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 35 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Birger Strømvad came free, but Henk Jonckers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pino Van Hinnendaels got free with Kenneth Strandsgaard in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kenneth Strandsgaard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alek De Hondt in the 42nd minute of the match. KV Schoonwater's Henk Jonckers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenz Acarreta in the 46th minute of play. After 47 played minutes KV Schoonwater got a freekick which was hit by Pino Van Hinnendaels.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pino Van Hinnendaels to strike the kick off in the second half. Alek De Hondt scored 2-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenneth Strandsgaard, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 56 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Henk Jonckers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amin Rostvold. 58 minutes into the match, KV Schoonwater's goal looked a bit too open when Amin Rostvold came free, but Henk Jonckers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joachim Wiggers hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 62 minutes into the match, Amager FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sem Roekeloos came free, but Kenneth Strandsgaard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amin Rostvold in the 66th minute of play forced KV Schoonwater's goalkeeper Henk Jonckers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henk Jonckers made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Lorenz Acarreta sent off a good shot on target. Amager FC made a substitution. Marvin Leerberg replaced Amin Rostvold. Pino Van Hinnendaels charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pino Van Hinnendaels the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to KV Schoonwater getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Pino Van Hinnendaels hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Marvin Leerberg took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Henk Jonckers to make any attempt to save it. Henk Jonckers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marvin Leerberg in the 94th minute of play. The Amager FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Amager FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
