Henry Salkvist was extremely unlucky when he, in the 21st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Peter Martinsson came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Botafogo MZRJ's Jailson Capixaba. But to his dismay, Jailson Capixaba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 28 minutes into the game, Sten Lindholm recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of José Vítor Netto. Sten Lindholm showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Eric Söder who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of José Vítor Netto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Botafogo MZRJ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Eric Söder scored to the left of an out of position José Vítor Netto, making the score, 3-1. Botafogo MZRJ's José Vítor Netto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Botafogo MZRJ from getting a goal against them. Sten Lindholm in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of José Vítor Netto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice moves Eric Söder could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which José Vítor Netto however easily saved by the left post. Peter Martinsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaltino Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Botafogo MZRJ's Jailson Capixaba got a free kick in the 51st minute. Silas Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Lokomotiv Sick-Sack's Patrik Wahlström was substituted for Sten Lindholm. Lokomotiv Sick-Sack's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Xu Chen Jian in the 59th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Botafogo MZRJ's goalie and right to Eric Söder. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Botafogo MZRJ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Wahlström in the 66th minute of play forced Botafogo MZRJ's goalkeeper José Vítor Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. He Kuan Ning scored 7-2 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Vítor Netto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lokomotiv Sick-Sack fans cheered their team off the field, for while Botafogo MZRJ had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
