After having played for 17 minutes, Flóki Ólafsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fomac FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flóki Ólafsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ross Barber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urtungo Santander in the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Cañamero C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Sörman came free, but Misael Solera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Urtungo Santander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ross Barber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urtungo Santander, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Misael Solera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flóki Ólafsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

In the 52nd minute Radja Head shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ross Barber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flóki Ólafsson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Misael Solera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Urtungo Santander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ross Barber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Cañamero C.F.'s goalkeeper Misael Solera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eddie Sörman. In the 75th minute, Urtungo Santander left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cañamero C.F. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Fomac FK's Ross Barber played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horea Teodoroiu in the 80th minute of play. Misael Solera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flóki Ólafsson in the 83rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eddie Sörman got free with Misael Solera in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cañamero C.F.'s Misael Solera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Cañamero C.F. from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the game, Emil Hajto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cañamero C.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fomac FK the free kick. The supporters of Fomac FK booed when Cañamero C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Hajto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cañamero C.F.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
