After a rather tough play, Escuadrón Mercenario's Zé Pedro Medeiros got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute Tobias Kellberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nando Toscano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nando Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henric Magnusson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikael Vennerström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Estevon Abancens in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Escuadrón Mercenario's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Kellberg came free, but Nando Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26thth minute of the game Tobias Kellberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Escuadrón Mercenario's Nando Toscano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nando Toscano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Henric Magnusson went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Överås BK were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Escuadrón Mercenario's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bengt Hedbom took the corner. In the 34th match minute, Escuadrón Mercenario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gartxot Abeita to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the match Bengt Hedbom shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nando Toscano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nando Toscano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Fransson, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After a rather tough play, Överås BK's Andreas Bark got a free kick in the 38th minute. Nando Toscano came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Överås BK's Tobias Kellberg. But to his dismay, Tobias Kellberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Tobias Kellberg got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 55 played minutes Escuadrón Mercenario got a freekick which was hit by Sasoin Abascal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Enrique Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Escuadrón Mercenario's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Abeijon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikael Vennerström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andreas Bark hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The supporters of Överås BK booed when Escuadrón Mercenario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Estevon Abancens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nando Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Kellberg in the 71st minute of the match. When Escuadrón Mercenario's Estevon Abancens in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The audience was convinced that Estevon Abancens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikael Vennerström was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Nando Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henric Magnusson in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the match, Escuadrón Mercenario's Ramiro Messias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikael Vennerström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Estevon Abancens's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mikael Vennerström was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Chants of Överås BK echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Escuadrón Mercenario had held the ball for most of the match.
