With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteban Dreer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 32 minutes, Bartolo Nuno made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Kaiser!'s Esteban Dreer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Primitivo Fernanco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ugutz Ibañez in the 38th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Kaiser!'s goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Nuno came free, but Esteban Dreer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Boca Juniors were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bartolo Nuno made a kick off.
