The supporters of Bierunese booed when Mete y Raspa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Güralp Asır didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justino Ramila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Arnolds, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute, Estefan Flamenco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mete y Raspa FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Justino Ramila was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Kevin Arnolds capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kevin Arnolds really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 13th minute Estefan Flamenco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Werner Kamps saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match Bierunese got a corner. Mete y Raspa FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kevin Arnolds ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bierunese's Donato Alvarez was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Justino Ramila in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With an all-out effort, Bierunese's Justino Ramila threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nathan van Aalderen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Alvarez in the 19th minute of play forced Mete y Raspa FC's goalkeeper Justino Ramila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the match, Bierunese's goal looked a bit too open when Güralp Asır came free, but Werner Kamps reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Estefan Flamenco scored 1-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Werner Kamps, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Werner Kamps showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julen Barahona, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Werner Kamps showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Estefan Flamenco in the 33rd minute of the match. Mete y Raspa FC's Estefan Flamenco got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Werner Kamps took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estefan Flamenco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Estefan Flamenco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Estefan Flamenco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Werner Kamps having to make a save. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kevin Arnolds was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Bierunese's Werner Kamps got control of the ball when Estefan Flamenco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bierunese's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tano Roncal was slow to take the kick. During this time Mete y Raspa FC's players had a chance to rest. Mete y Raspa FC's Justino Lago was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Werner Kamps in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mete y Raspa FC's Tano Roncal got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bierunese's Felipe Jaume suffered a sore thigh after 63 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Tano Roncal fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mete y Raspa FC's protests and gave Tano Roncal a yellow card for diving instead. Bierunese's Mirko Mussies was substituted for Felipe Jaume. Tano Roncal kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 69 played minutes Bierunese got a freekick which was hit by Kevin Arnolds. Mete y Raspa FC's Hasan Can Yerhum was substituted for Estefan Flamenco.
