After 22 minutes, Eloy Calvino made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. XIN JIANG FOOTBALL CLUB's Artuur Akram tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Artuur Akram made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zülfü Sungur in the 42nd minute of play. Jorge Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stanislav Georgiev in the 44th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Jorge Armani successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stanislav Georgiev to make the kick off. Zülfü Sungur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Artuur Akram made a huge save. In the 58th minute Buğrahan Yılmaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Esmeralda AFC's Eloy Calvino ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Artuur Akram. Artuur Akram yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. In the 68th minute, Markus Alfheim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute, Faruk Akram hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of XIN JIANG FOOTBALL CLUB booed when Esmeralda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zülfü Sungur didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th match minute, Esmeralda AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zülfü Sungur to maneuver through the defense. Stanislav Georgiev recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Artuur Akram made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Nicasio Fonda sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the match, XIN JIANG FOOTBALL CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Fonda came free, but Artuur Akram reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes in the game, Nicasio Fonda dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. With 94 minutes on the clock, Didar Akram commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of XIN JIANG FOOTBALL CLUB:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Esmeralda AFC:s goal. Esmeralda AFC played a much better game than XIN JIANG FOOTBALL CLUB and deserved their victory. The XIN JIANG FOOTBALL CLUB players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
