The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 12th minute Kidlat Cabanit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Seaman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Calvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Esmeralda AFC's Eloy Calvino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Seaman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zülfü Sungur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. David Seaman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Banegas in the 23rd minute of play forced MeioBilhão EmCaixaJuniors's goalkeeper David Seaman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MeioBilhão EmCaixaJuniors's David Seaman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Banegas in the 24th minute of play. David Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Calvino in the 26th minute of play. David Seaman had great luck who in the 30thth minute grab hold of the ball when Andrew Dalli from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Andrew Dalli didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 30th minute. Esmeralda AFC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Alexandre De Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Kidlat Cabanit notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Esmeralda AFC's Jorge Armani. Jorge Armani was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, MeioBilhão EmCaixaJuniors's Francisc Astafiei got a free kick in the 37th minute. David Seaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Banegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 43 minutes into the match, MeioBilhão EmCaixaJuniors's goal looked a bit too open when Andrew Dalli came free, but David Seaman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Seaman was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Zülfü Sungur capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Zülfü Sungur really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

David Seaman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrew Dalli in the 95th minute of play. Kidlat Cabanit who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 97thth minute tested the skills of Jorge Armani when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
