An unexpectedly hard shot by Casper Granqvist in the 17th minute of play forced Esmeralda AFC's goalkeeper Jorge Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Andrew Dalli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Cipriano Abreu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zülfü Sungur could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Cipriano Abreu made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Calvino in the 31st minute of play forced A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's goalkeeper Cipriano Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes of play, Esmeralda AFC's Eloy Calvino made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 47thth minute of the game Casper Granqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esmeralda AFC's Jorge Armani was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Esmeralda AFC's Cecilio Otsando suffered a sore thigh after 50 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 50 minutes into the game, Giuseppe Marques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The crowd rose to their feet as Casper Granqvist kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jorge Armani. That made the score 1-3 in the 62 minute of play. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's goalkeeper Cipriano Abreu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Casper Granqvist in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cipriano Abreu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Andrew Dalli went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 made a substitution. Vilhelm Tikka replaced Erivaldo Romero. Jorge Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casper Granqvist in the 78th minute of play. Jorge Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilhelm Tikka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cipriano Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrew Dalli, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Kong Kun Xu kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 85 played minutes Esmeralda AFC got a freekick which was hit by Kong Kun Xu. A collision led to A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Genílson de Amorim hit a great ball. In the 95th minute of the match, Sílvio Luís de Souza tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jorge Armani saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
