All Stars Gent's Eser Şemsi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save All Stars Gent from getting a goal against them. Dragomir Marchovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joop Mesmaeckers, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd match minute, All Stars Gent was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joop Mesmaeckers to maneuver through the defense. Eser Şemsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Meruendano in the 24th minute of play. Joop Mesmaeckers scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dragomir Marchovski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eser Şemsi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeng Ting Xing in the 38th minute of the match. Santiago Meruendano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eser Şemsi having to interfere. Carlos Sueiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Eser Şemsi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dragomir Marchovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joop Mesmaeckers in the 45th minute of play. After the first half All Stars Gent were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joop Mesmaeckers stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dragomir Marchovski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Cuelens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christiaan Elsen took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dragomir Marchovski. In the 58th minute Carlos Sueiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eser Şemsi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dragomir Marchovski made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Esterilla Van Meenen sent off a good shot on target. Dragomir Marchovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Cuelens in the 67th minute of the match. Eser Şemsi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costante Segarra, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Union Y Progreso F.C. booed when All Stars Gent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Didier Beekman didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of All Stars Gent were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Union Y Progreso F.C. side.
