An unexpectedly hard shot by Min Alacuart in the 5th minute of play forced Union Y Progreso F.C.'s goalkeeper Dragomir Marchovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragomir Marchovski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uche Okechukwu in the 7th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Costante Segarra recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Volkan Demirel. Costante Segarra showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 12th minute Santiago Meruendano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Volkan Demirel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dragomir Marchovski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Min Alacuart in the 15th minute of play. Volkan Demirel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costante Segarra in the 16th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Volkan Demirel threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Santiago Meruendano, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Pan Zheng Li came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Union Y Progreso F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pan Zheng Li couldn't finish the play. Volkan Demirel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santiago Meruendano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TunaFC's Volkan Demirel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Meruendano in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uche Okechukwu in the 31st minute of play forced Union Y Progreso F.C.'s goalkeeper Dragomir Marchovski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costante Segarra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Volkan Demirel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Union Y Progreso F.C.'s zone, Çağdaş Zago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dragomir Marchovski came out of the goal and Çağdaş Zago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santiago Meruendano might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Volkan Demirel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santiago Meruendano ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zeng Ting Xing to strike the kick off in the second half. Costante Segarra might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Volkan Demirel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Costante Segarra ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeng Ting Xing in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Volkan Demirel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Zeng Ting Xing in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye TunaFC's goalie prevented a goal. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by TunaFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fabio Cordarell was slow to take the kick. During this time Union Y Progreso F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Union Y Progreso F.C.'s corner Fabio Cordarell fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Volkan Demirel quite easily take care of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Union Y Progreso F.C.'s Costante Segarra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Volkan Demirel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Volkan Demirel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zeng Ting Xing's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. After 63 minutes, Zeng Ting Xing made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. TunaFC's Volkan Demirel tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dragomir Marchovski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deivid De Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. A collision led to Union Y Progreso F.C. getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Zeng Ting Xing hit a great ball. If Zeng Ting Xing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 minutes, Deivid De Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TunaFC and the Union Y Progreso F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Volkan Demirel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeng Ting Xing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Min Alacuart was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 81st minute. TunaFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Costante Segarra struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Volkan Demirel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Union Y Progreso F.C.. After a rather tough play, TunaFC's Çağdaş Zago got a free kick in the 91st minute. When Fabio Cordarell came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Union Y Progreso F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Cordarell couldn't finish the play. When Uche Okechukwu fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TunaFC's protests and gave Uche Okechukwu a yellow card for diving instead. After 93 played minutes TunaFC got a freekick which was hit by Uche Okechukwu. After some careless play in the Union Y Progreso F.C. defense, Uche Okechukwu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dragomir Marchovski. The Union Y Progreso F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dragomir Marchovski should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Union Y Progreso F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while TunaFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
