Spectators: 158 (Terracing: 119, Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Thomas Brolin took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Panionios MK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonis Linardakis to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Redbull Sala's goalkeeper David Lundgren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 8 minutes into the match, Panionios MK's Allan Corrigan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Lundgren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Redbull Sala's David Lundgren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Themos Leontiadis in the 9th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Themos Leontiadis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Lundgren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zisis Chronidis in the 25th minute of play forced Redbull Sala's goalkeeper David Lundgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Thomas Brolin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alketas Bourouselos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match, Ejvind Haversen got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alketas Bourouselos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 34 minutes into the match, Panionios MK's goal looked a bit too open when Ejvind Haversen came free, but Alketas Bourouselos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Redbull Sala's Thomas Brolin got a free kick in the 36th minute. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Zisis Chronidis put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of David Lundgren. Alketas Bourouselos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ejvind Haversen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Panionios MK's Argyris Ksagorarakis got a free kick in the 47th minute. Ejvind Haversen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alketas Bourouselos having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When Ejvind Haversen fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Redbull Sala's protests and gave Ejvind Haversen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, Redbull Sala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ejvind Haversen to maneuver through the defense. Alketas Bourouselos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ejvind Haversen in the 60th minute of play. David Lundgren made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Zisis Chronidis sent off a good shot on target. In the last second David Lundgren throw himself and got hold of the ball when Themos Leontiadis in the 64thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 69 minutes into the match, Allan Corrigan notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Redbull Sala's David Lundgren. David Lundgren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. David Lundgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zisis Chronidis in the 72nd minute. Zisis Chronidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Panionios MK's Alketas Bourouselos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Brolin in the 81st minute of play. Antonis Linardakis kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Alketas Bourouselos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thomas Brolin in the 87th minute of the match. Zisis Chronidiss short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got David Lundgren to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 91st match minute, Panionios MK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Themos Leontiadis to maneuver through the defense. Panionios MK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
