After a defensive mix-up in Jabones Tocadores's zone, Arif Çelebi Ergener stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alípio Torres came out of the goal and Arif Çelebi Ergener tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Mena got free with Lech Blochowiak in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lech Blochowiak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Mena, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Jabones Tocadores's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Orlando Mena in the 32nd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Isidoro Rico heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Tours Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arif Çelebi Ergener was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aziz Koehler's late challenge caught a Jabones Tocadores's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aziz Koehler helped the player get up and apologised. Aziz Koehler kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The Tours Football Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tours Football Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
