After 4 minutes ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Orlando Mena who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Mena in the 5th minute of play forced ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Jabones Tocadores's Orlando Mena sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edwin van der Sar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 12th minute Orlando Mena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edwin van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Jabones Tocadores's Orlando Mena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edwin van der Sar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Edwin van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Mena in the 18th minute of play. Alípio Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pacorro Aguilar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Pacorro Aguilar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alípio Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Mena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edwin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Mena, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Mena in the 31st minute of play forced ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Jabones Tocadores's goalkeeper Alípio Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hori Guillemez. A collision led to ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ambrosio Ponc hit a great ball. Edwin van der Sar came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Jabones Tocadores's Domenico Checchia. But to his dismay, Domenico Checchia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Fernando Maule kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Alípio Torres acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 39th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Achraf Hakimi. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jabones Tocadores's goalkeeper Alípio Torres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pacorro Aguilar in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alípio Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ booed when Jabones Tocadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Estevez didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgardo Felo during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fernando Maule kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Pero Falla was substituted for Pacorro Aguilar. The supporters of ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ booed when Jabones Tocadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Maule didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 minutes, Furman Salantes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦ and the Jabones Tocadores players grew even worse after the yellow card. Orlando Mena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edwin van der Sar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Domenico Checchia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hori Guillemez in the 77th minute of play forced Jabones Tocadores's goalkeeper Alípio Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edwin van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Mena in the 79th minute of the match. Orlando Mena blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edwin van der Sar having to make a save. Alípio Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hori Guillemez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edwin van der Sar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Mena in the 89th minute. 93 minutes into the game, ♠♥ Stardust Crusaders ♣♦'s Pero Falla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
