Bernardo Vazquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cirilo Ritchie's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The audience was convinced that Cirilo Ritchie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Vazquez was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Ritchie in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Vazquez saved UD Fuerteventura from getting behind. Arif Ozan Oğuztan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovani Barral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cirilo Ritchie struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claris Quiroga to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Arrecifes getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Constantino Roldanillo hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Ritchie in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardo Vazquez saved UD Fuerteventura from getting behind. Cirilo Ritchie might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardo Vazquez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cirilo Ritchie ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernardo Vazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cirilo Ritchie, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. If Cirilo Ritchie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arrecifes's Natanael Matorin was substituted for Waldemar Korytkowski. In the 66thth minute of the game Felipe Senon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UD Fuerteventura's Bernardo Vazquez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Kevin De Bruyne kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Felipe Senon took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Bernardo Vazquez to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Senon got free with Bernardo Vazquez in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bernardo Vazquez was a little too slow when Felipe Senon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 76th minute. The score was now 0-2. After 80 minutes of play, Arrecifes's Felipe Senon made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Vazquez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 82 minutes into the match, Arrecifes's goal looked a bit too open when Claris Quiroga came free, but Arif Ozan Oğuztan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kevin De Bruyne hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match.
