Timoteo Estevez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardo Vazquez having to make a save. Bernardo Vazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Estevez, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Timoteo Estevez came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Ekzema F.V. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Estevez couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ekzema F.V. booed when UD Fuerteventura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovani Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geovani Barral might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ximenez Cayuso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Geovani Barral ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th minute Geovani Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ximenez Cayuso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Vazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Estevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Arruda's late challenge caught a UD Fuerteventura's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Arruda helped the player get up and apologised. UD Fuerteventura's Andrés Figueroa was substituted for Basilio Quintero. A collision led to Ekzema F.V. getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ricardo Arruda hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claris Quiroga to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, UD Fuerteventura's Allard Ijsselhof got a free kick in the 56th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as UD Fuerteventura's Platon Dorado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ximenez Cayuso. That made the score 1-2 after 63 minutes of play. Ximenez Cayuso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Barral, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. UD Fuerteventura were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Ekzema F.V.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Geovani Barral took the corner. Lisandro Piearres got in the 72nd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Bernardo Vazquez handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. After a rather tough play, UD Fuerteventura's İbrahim Ethem Altuncuoğlu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Lisandro Piearres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The corner was taken by Paul Birkendahl in the 88th minute. The corner led Ekzema F.V.'s Lisandro Piearres to fire away a dangerous shot which Bernardo Vazquez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 90th minute Ekzema F.V. were awarded a corner. Paul Birkendahl went to the cornerflag to take it. Paul Birkendahl made a great header on Ekzema F.V.'s corner, it was just that UD Fuerteventura's Bernardo Vazquez managed to reach the ball for a save. 95 minutes into the match, Ekzema F.V.'s goalkeeper Ximenez Cayuso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claris Quiroga. After 98 minutes of play, Ekzema F.V.'s Lisandro Piearres made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardo Vazquez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ekzema F.V.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
