When Dimitar Berbatov fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Nordsjælland's protests and gave Dimitar Berbatov a yellow card for diving instead. Dimitar Berbatov hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Andreas Hansen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonatan Andreasson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Nordsjælland's Andreas Hansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonatan Andreasson in the 20th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Andreas Schjelderup's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hubert Ahlfors was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the last second Andreas Hansen throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jonatan Andreasson in the 46thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Koronis Corona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Svenåge Ellefsen kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Andreas Hansen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carl Di Canio, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The supporters of SteffosPojkar FF booed when FC Nordsjælland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aage Thegler didn't get a good kick on the ball. SteffosPojkar FF's Philip Molander was substituted for Maximilian Seemayer. Aage Thegler kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. SteffosPojkar FF's Koronis Corona got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erik Lund struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Andreas Hansen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SteffosPojkar FF. Napoleon Glozor scored 5-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andreas Hansen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
