In the 6th minute, Konrad Bronkala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eldad Te Vrede in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Massa saved UFC STEAUA from getting behind. Mugur Basarabescu hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Eldad Te Vrede's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Massa was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. When Henriksdalskajens SK's Eldad Te Vrede in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the UFC STEAUA defense, Stig Gulliksson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of João Massa. The UFC STEAUA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that João Massa should have stopped the shot. In the 39th minute, Markus Vik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eldad Te Vrede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Massa having to interfere. A collision led to UFC STEAUA getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Rafet Faydalı hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the game, Eldad Te Vrede cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. João Massa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

João Massa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eldad Te Vrede in the 54th minute. UFC STEAUA's João Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eldad Te Vrede in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Eldad Te Vrede recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of João Massa. Without hesitation aimed to the right of João Massa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 72nd minute, Stig Gulliksson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. João Massa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eldad Te Vrede in the 78th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessandro Clarkfeldt got free with João Massa in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eldad Te Vrede during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 95th match minute, Henriksdalskajens SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Ahlquist to maneuver through the defense. Gigel Seremet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Holer Nolan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Henriksdalskajens SK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than UFC STEAUA.
