Andreas Hansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aban Popo in the 2nd minute of the match. Ermegildo Pasqual took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andreas Schjelderup, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, Yulian Kichukov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ermegildo Pasqual. Red Bull Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yulian Kichukov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. FC Nordsjælland's Andreas Hansen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save FC Nordsjælland from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aban Popo in the 11th minute of play forced FC Nordsjælland's goalkeeper Andreas Hansen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermegildo Pasqual showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andreas Schjelderup in the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to Red Bull Club getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Stamen Šiškov hit a great ball. After 19 played minutes Red Bull Club got a freekick which was hit by Špend Bošnjaku. FC Nordsjælland's Yulian Kichukov took a good shot, in the 20th minute, which hit the crossbar above Ermegildo Pasqual's head, and flew over the goal. Red Bull Club's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by FC Nordsjælland. With 23 minutes on the clock, Svenåge Ellefsen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, FC Nordsjælland's Svenåge Ellefsen got a free kick in the 24th minute. After having played for 24 minutes, Aban Popo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Bull Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aban Popo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Sindre Walle managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Nordsjælland's supporters rose to their feet, but Sindre Walle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermegildo Pasqual breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
Red Bull Club's Ermegildo Pasqual played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sindre Walle in the 52nd minute of play. Aban Popo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute Sindre Walle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Pasqual saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yulian Kichukov hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Lirian Rajkovski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th match minute, FC Nordsjælland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Schjelderup to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute Stamen Šiškov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Hansen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Ermegildo Pasqual successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ermegildo Pasqual was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Andreas Schjelderup capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andreas Schjelderup really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. FC Nordsjælland's Andreas Hansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emilijano Kitanovski in the 87th minute of play. Migjen Mena's late challenge caught a FC Nordsjælland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Migjen Mena helped the player get up and apologised. Ermegildo Pasqual made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andreas Schjelderup in the 90th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Aban Popo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Nordsjælland's Andreas Hansen. Andreas Hansen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
