The supporters of SteffosPojkar FF booed when FC Nordsjælland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Caniggia didn't get a good kick on the ball. German Baumer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Hansen having to interfere. In the 11thth minute of the game Yulian Kichukov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SteffosPojkar FF's Hans Hellgren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Yulian Kichukov got free in front of the goal in the 13th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Hans Hellgren was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Andreas Hansen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Baumer in the 15th minute of the match. With his leg Hans Hellgren managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when FC Nordsjælland's Yulian Kichukov fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 17 minutes into the game, Yulian Kichukov lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Hans Hellgren. Edvin Ekblom scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andreas Hansen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Andreas Hansen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Baumer, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Napoleon Glozor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Hansen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th match minute, SteffosPojkar FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvin Ekblom to maneuver through the defense. FC Nordsjælland's Andreas Hansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvin Ekblom in the 37th minute of play. But to his dismay, German Baumer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell German Baumer to make the kick off. Andreas Hansen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Baumer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers German Baumer in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andreas Hansen saved FC Nordsjælland from getting behind. In the 57th minute SteffosPojkar FF were awarded a corner. Carl Di Canio went to the cornerflag to take it. Mats Kristiansson kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of FC Nordsjælland booed when SteffosPojkar FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koronis Corona didn't get a good kick on the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sindre Walle couldn't finish the play. In the 68th match minute, FC Nordsjælland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Siden to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Koronis Corona kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Andreas Hansen. That made the score 2-4 in the 72 minute of play. In the 74th minute, Jeppe Tverskov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sindre Walle kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. When Napoleon Glozor came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the SteffosPojkar FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Napoleon Glozor couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute Sindre Walle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Hellgren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Hansen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Baumer, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Carl Di Canio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andreas Hansen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Napoleon Glozor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Napoleon Glozor could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Andreas Hansen made a huge save. The SteffosPojkar FF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SteffosPojkar FF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
