If Vaggelis Pavlidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vęgoria Team's Bogdan Pilarski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jiang Hong in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute Vaggelis Pavlidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Barbălată saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Pilarski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jiang Hong, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Zheng Cheng Zheng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vaggelis Pavlidis was the one to do the kick off. Nikola Milenković hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. RB Buzău's Radu Barbălată played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaggelis Pavlidis in the 77th minute of play. RB Buzău made a substitution. Abel Mazza replaced Moise Bădiță. In the 82nd minute, Fred Carlsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bogdan Pilarski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Galo van Basten went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Roman Sierocki sped through RB Buzău's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Radu Barbălată. Many of RB Buzău's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. RB Buzău may have spent more time on the ball, but Vęgoria Team were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
