After some careless play in the KORV defense, Alfredinho Aparecido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zemario Minjaraz. The KORV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zemario Minjaraz should have stopped the shot. Zemario Minjaraz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominik Piglowski went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 25 played minutes KORV got a freekick which was hit by Asgeir Størkersen. Zemario Minjaraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton Coelho in the 29th minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolas Romero made a kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Alfredinho Aparecido took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Zemario Minjaraz to make any attempt to save it. Atlético Minuano's Yuri Loureiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bård Torstensen in the 57th minute of play. But to his dismay, Nicolas Romero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The audience was convinced that Nicolas Romero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zemario Minjaraz was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. 96 minutes into the match, Mathias Ortiz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Zemario Minjaraz, 0-9.
