The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Mohamed Bale put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Patrick Drewitz. In the 13th minute, Mohamed Bale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ayapaso FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Mohamed Bale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Malmö Torpedos's Patrick Drewitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohamed Bale in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Mohamed Bale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrick Drewitz. Malmö Torpedos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mohamed Bale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Mohamed Bale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Gaudencio Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Tim Zeigler managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Malmö Torpedos's Gustav Svanström fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Malmö Torpedos's zone, Mohamed Bale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Drewitz came out of the goal and Mohamed Bale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 34 minutes, Jerry Pihlgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malmö Torpedos and the Ayapaso FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Ayapaso FC booed when Malmö Torpedos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerry Pihlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Ayapaso FC's Mohamed Bale nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Patrick Drewitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 42 minutes into the game, Mohamed Bale cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Patrick Drewitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Ayapaso FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anders Andreasson made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Mohamed Bale made a precise shot to the right of Patrick Drewitz. Malmö Torpedos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. After 55 minutes, Mohamed Bale made it 0-7 with a short kick to the right side. Malmö Torpedos's Patrick Drewitz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute, Ayapaso FC's Mohamed Bale dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Ayapaso FC were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Malmö Torpedos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luis Javier Fenieux took the corner. Ayapaso FC's Luis Javier Fenieux was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Patrick Drewitz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 74 minutes into the match, Ayapaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Åke Galle came free, but Tim Zeigler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mohamed Bale didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-9 via right post in the game's 77th minute. Ayapaso FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 80th match minute, Ayapaso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mohamed Bale to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ayapaso FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
