In the 14th minute, Aldao's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hjalmar Hjort fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elefanterna's goalkeeper Ove Orm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Froilan Bermudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aldao's Tim Zeigler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Åkesson in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th minute Olov Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tim Zeigler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Georg Panda fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elefanterna's protests and gave Georg Panda a yellow card for diving instead. After 36 played minutes Elefanterna got a freekick which was hit by Georg Panda. In the 39th minute, Egil Eagle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Elefanterna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nilmar Paraense was the one to do the kick off. After 57 minutes of play, Elefanterna's Olov Åkesson made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tim Zeigler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mohamed Bale scored 4-1 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ove Orm, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tim Zeigler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olov Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olov Åkesson in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tim Zeigler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tim Zeigler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Egil Eagle in the 74th minute of play. Tim Zeigler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egil Eagle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes into the match, Aldao's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Paraense came free, but Tim Zeigler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Georg Panda lost his temper 83 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 82 minutes into the game, one of Elefanterna:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ove Orm had in the 84thth minute some difficulties stopping Froilan Bermudo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Egil Eagle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elefanterna's supporters rose to their feet, but Egil Eagle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tim Zeigler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tim Zeigler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olov Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Egil Eagle in the 91st minute of play forced Aldao's goalkeeper Tim Zeigler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tim Zeigler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Egil Eagle, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Mohamed Bale could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Ove Orm however easily saved by the left post. In the 97th match minute, Elefanterna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickard Hjälm to maneuver through the defense. Elefanterna's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
