Spectators: 143 (Terracing: 108, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kléber Cavalcante started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Kléber Cavalcante's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulo Renato Coutinho was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Arnaldo Abella took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tiago Godoi. São Paulo F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 11th match minute, São Paulo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Travassos to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute Arnaldo Abella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Godoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. São Paulo F.C.'s Tiago Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Abella in the 14th minute of play. Paulo Renato Coutinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adélio Ventura hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 28th play minutes Kléber Cavalcante shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Paulo Renato Coutinho and just under the crossbar into goal. São Paulo F.C.'s Tiago Godoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Abella in the 34th minute of play. AC Fu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave São Paulo F.C. the free kick. In the 43rd match minute, AC Fu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Abella to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arnaldo Abella to make the kick off. Paulo Renato Coutinho was out of position in the 61 minute of play, and Kléber Cavalcante capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kléber Cavalcante really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Kléber Cavalcante took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Paulo Renato Coutinho to make any attempt to save it. Hernani Vidal was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th match minute, São Paulo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernani Vidal to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaac Tano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. São Paulo F.C.'s Yaya Sow was substituted for Vito Travassos. After a rather tough play, São Paulo F.C.'s Buba Seco got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the match, São Paulo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Adélio Ventura came free, but Tiago Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiago Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faustino Olando went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. São Paulo F.C. were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over AC Fu's much stronger midfield.
