Paulo Renato Coutinho made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Eugen Mantoiu sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When Adélio Ventura fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC Fu's protests and gave Adélio Ventura a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AC Fu getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Adélio Ventura hit a great ball. Paulo Renato Coutinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Mantoiu in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 66th minute Markus Åström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Renato Coutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. AC Fu's Paulo Renato Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Åström in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Arnaldo Abella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Özgün Hatip struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Paulo Renato Coutinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galapagos Islands FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Özgün Hatip in the 83rd minute of play forced AC Fu's goalkeeper Paulo Renato Coutinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Özgün Hatip had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Renato Coutinho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugen Mantoiu's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Özgün Hatip scored 3-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Renato Coutinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With 97 minutes on the clock, Venancio Moise commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee gave Galapagos Islands FC a penalty, 98 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Niklas Möller, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of AC Fu's Paulo Renato Coutinho. 4-0.
