The crowd rose to their feet as Jar.C Lipno's Mikael Nilsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tiago Godoi. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mikael Nilsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tiago Godoi. That made the score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. A collision led to Jar.C Lipno getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Lukasz Sakowicz hit a great ball. Hernani Vidal hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Wladyslaw Czerwinski came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by São Paulo F.C.'s Kléber Cavalcante. But to his dismay, Kléber Cavalcante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Wladyslaw Czerwinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kléber Cavalcante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 26 played minutes Jar.C Lipno got a freekick which was hit by Lukasz Sakowicz. When Buba Seco fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored São Paulo F.C.'s protests and gave Buba Seco a yellow card for diving instead. Tiago Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Nilsson in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by São Paulo F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cesinha Souto was slow to take the kick. During this time Jar.C Lipno's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Jar.C Lipno's corner Cesinha Souto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tiago Godoi quite easily take care of the ball. The audience was convinced that Izydor Dranka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago Godoi was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Tiago Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikael Nilsson in the 45th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, São Paulo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jan Malik came free, but Tiago Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mikael Nilsson was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Jar.C Lipno's zone, Murillo Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wladyslaw Czerwinski came out of the goal and Murillo Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Jar.C Lipno booed when São Paulo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Buba Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Greg Walker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 62 played minutes Jar.C Lipno got a freekick which was hit by Greg Walker. Greg Walker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Godoi having to interfere. Tiago Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izydor Dranka in the 74th minute of the match. São Paulo F.C.'s Kléber Cavalcante got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 81 played minutes São Paulo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Vidal. Romildo Pratti struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Wladyslaw Czerwinski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for São Paulo F.C.. In the 87th minute Jar.C Lipno were awarded a corner. Cesinha Souto went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Cesinha Souto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tiago Godoi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Tiago Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izydor Dranka in the 93rd minute of the match. Tiago Godoi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Greg Walker went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Jar.C Lipno were the better team. Jar.C Lipno's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
