The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcelo Quexada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patrik Olsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gong Ying Zheng made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Cresitobalo Rilo sent off a good shot on target. After 17 minutes, Bernardo Sharkin made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Cusco FC's Marcelo Quexada tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Cusco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gusztáv Bács came free, but Marcelo Quexada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Gusztáv Bács ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Quexada was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Marcelo Quexada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Sharkin in the 32nd minute of play. Marcelo Quexada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gusztáv Bács in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anthony Dumont in the 35th minute of play forced Cusco FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Quexada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute, Inko Maquibar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Sharkin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Cusco FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Quexada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anthony Dumont. In the 61st minute Gabon Salantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gong Ying Zheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Wells charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robert Wells the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, VC zoetwater's Robert Wells got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Marcelo Quexada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Sharkin, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute Gusztáv Bács shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Quexada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Gabon Salantes made a precise shot to the right of Gong Ying Zheng. VC zoetwater's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabon Salantes in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gong Ying Zheng saved VC zoetwater from getting behind. Anthony Dumont came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Marcelo Quexada could save by the left post. The supporters of VC zoetwater booed when Cusco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cresitobalo Rilo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kléberson Garcia fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cusco FC's protests and gave Kléberson Garcia a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of VC zoetwater booed when Cusco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléberson Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball.
