Joel Caton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Azubeli in the 38th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo Azubeli in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joel Caton saved Loja S.C. from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Arnaldo Toro managed to get in a good position for a shot. CONSTILIANO's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Toro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Caton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 45th minute, Jonas Gutierrez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Enzo Azubeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Enzo Azubeli made the kick off in the second half. In the 57thth minute of the game Enzo Azubeli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loja S.C.'s Joel Caton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Rojas in the 60th minute of play forced CONSTILIANO's goalkeeper Wojciech Hajduk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
