Léo Gol started the match with the kick off. Gustave Souchu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léo Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Arvin Lundin managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when R.C. Marseille's Mihail Toader fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. FC Douchebags's Léo Gol got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th minute Léo Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustave Souchu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind R.C. Marseille's goalkeeper Gustave Souchu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, FC Douchebags's Arvin Lundin got control of the ball when Cyrille Melon tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 19 in the game by Mihail Toader from a close distance when the talented Arvin Lundin managed to make a qualified save. FC Douchebags's players were relieved. Arvin Lundin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyrille Melon in the 20th minute of the match. Mihail Toader received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Arvin Lundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Léo Gol scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustave Souchu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Léo Gol in the 31st minute of play forced R.C. Marseille's goalkeeper Gustave Souchu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Léo Gol sped through R.C. Marseille's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gustave Souchu. Léo Gol took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gustave Souchu. Gustave Souchu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 48 played minutes R.C. Marseille got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Marc Buisson. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cyrille Melon was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renan Bouzat in the 55th minute of play forced FC Douchebags's goalkeeper Arvin Lundin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Marc Buisson made in the 56th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Maxence Demay. Léo Gol's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Gustave Souchu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gustave Souchu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Léo Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustave Souchu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Léo Gol's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. FC Douchebags's Arne Lind was substituted for Antoni Kapelski. FC Douchebags's Gösta Dahlkvist quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Song Xing Le, made in the 75th minute of the game. Harry Samuelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A throw-in in the 86th minute of the game was made by Régis Saison with Song Xing Le as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 88th match minute, R.C. Marseille was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ghislain Ménétrier to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Harry Samuelsson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gustave Souchu. The goal made the score 0-5. Arvin Lundin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cyrille Melon went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score.
