Ubatuba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riverzone the free kick. The supporters of Riverzone booed when Ubatuba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute, Lucas Goizeder made a precise shot to the right of Dráuzio Velasco. Ubatuba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Dráuzio Velasco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matías Kranevitter went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Lucas Goizeder took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dráuzio Velasco. Dráuzio Velasco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. A collision led to Ubatuba getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Cecilio Manny hit a great ball. Riverzone's Lucas Goizeder pulled a muscle in his leg after 18 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hermínio Paraibano during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Riverzone's Mario Kempes was substituted for Lucas Goizeder. In the 19th match minute, Ubatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esequiel Barco in the 20th minute of play forced Ubatuba's goalkeeper Dráuzio Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Pablo Solari had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dráuzio Velasco. Ubatuba's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pablo Solari was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. 24 minutes into the match, Ubatuba's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Solari came free, but Dráuzio Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valdomiro Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. When Mario Kempes came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Riverzone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Kempes couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Kempes in the 35th minute of play forced Ubatuba's goalkeeper Dráuzio Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dráuzio Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Kranevitter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 39 played minutes Ubatuba got a freekick which was hit by Valdomiro Barros. Dráuzio Velasco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Kempes in the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Mario Kempes made a precise shot to the right of Dráuzio Velasco. Ubatuba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Esequiel Barco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ubatuba's Dráuzio Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Solari in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Riverzone were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viktor Ambrosetti made a kick off. Dráuzio Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matías Kranevitter in the 51st minute of play. Dráuzio Velasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matías Kranevitter, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 56th match minute, Ubatuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvaldo Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. Mario Kempes scored 0-7 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dráuzio Velasco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute, Mario Kempes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Riverzone fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. The crowd rose to their feet as Riverzone's Matías Kranevitter slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dráuzio Velasco. That made the score 0-10 after 67 minutes of play. In the 74th play minute Mario Kempes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dráuzio Velasco. 0-11. 77 minutes into the match, Ubatuba's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Kranevitter came free, but Dráuzio Velasco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Jacobo Urbasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mario Kempes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 80thth minute tested the skills of Dráuzio Velasco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Natã do Vale's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ezequiel Centurión read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Riverzone's Esteban Mancio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dráuzio Velasco. That made the score 1-12 after 86 minutes of play. Dráuzio Velasco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mario Kempes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-13 in the 93 minute of play. Enzo Díaz hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Riverzone's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
