The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the match, Krzysztof Bator tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rudi Ebbinge saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Rudi Ebbinge successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Werner Lokin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steedshoger's Rudi Ebbinge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Steedshoger from getting a goal against them. Wincent Furgat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudi Ebbinge having to interfere. Ryszard Ligas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Steedshoger's Werner Lokin got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Werner Lokin took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ziemowit Lemiesz. Ziemowit Lemiesz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Werner Lokin in the 23rd minute of play forced ◄19A10►Brunsberga's goalkeeper Ziemowit Lemiesz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stasio Wykowski kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Ziemowit Lemiesz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Zevenhuizen, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Anton Landzaat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Steedshoger's goalkeeper Rudi Ebbinge had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Krzysztof Bator. Steedshoger's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Krzysztof Bator scored to the left of an out of position Rudi Ebbinge, making the score, 1-1. Rudi Ebbinge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Ligas in the 38th minute of play. In the 40th minute, Werner Lokin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Steedshoger getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Anton Landzaat hit a great ball. After 43 played minutes ◄19A10►Brunsberga got a freekick which was hit by Wincent Furgat. Krzysztof Bator could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Rudi Ebbinge made a huge save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Krzysztof Bator stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Steedshoger's Rudi Ebbinge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krzysztof Bator in the 51st minute of play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind ◄19A10►Brunsberga's goalkeeper Ziemowit Lemiesz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Krzysztof Bator in the 58th minute of play forced Steedshoger's goalkeeper Rudi Ebbinge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Landzaat charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anton Landzaat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Steedshoger fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Steedshoger's Werner Lokin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Wincent Furgat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Rudi Ebbinge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rudi Ebbinge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Ligas, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
