Karol Czempa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Carlinhos Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Vasile Blănaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlinhos Galvão was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 11 played minutes União Agrícola Barbarense got a freekick which was hit by Víktor Pimenta. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Chorache Tofiño managed to get in a good position for a shot. Progresul Pitesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Chorache Tofiño was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlinhos Galvão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chorache Tofiño in the 16th minute of play forced União Agrícola Barbarense's goalkeeper Carlinhos Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vasile Blănaru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Carlinhos Galvão made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Vasile Blănaru kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlinhos Galvão. That made the score 2-0 in the 20 minute of play. Chorache Tofiño could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Carlinhos Galvão made a huge save. In the 25th minute, Vasile Blănaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlinhos Galvão was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Carlinhos Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Czempa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Progresul Pitesti's goal looked a bit too open when Elano Damião came free, but Martin Tudor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vasile Blănaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlinhos Galvão was a little too slow when Karol Czempa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 4-0. In the 39th minute, Karol Czempa fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. União Agrícola Barbarense's Carlinhos Galvão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Czempa in the 42nd minute of play. In the 45th match minute, Progresul Pitesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vintilă Marinică to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vasile Blănaru made a kick off. Karol Czempa scored 5-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlinhos Galvão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in União Agrícola Barbarense's zone, Karol Czempa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlinhos Galvão came out of the goal and Karol Czempa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the match, União Agrícola Barbarense's goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Blănaru came free, but Carlinhos Galvão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in União Agrícola Barbarense's zone, Karol Czempa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlinhos Galvão came out of the goal and Karol Czempa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the União Agrícola Barbarense defense, Karol Czempa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carlinhos Galvão. The União Agrícola Barbarense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlinhos Galvão should have stopped the shot. Chorache Tofiño took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlinhos Galvão. Carlinhos Galvão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Vasile Blănaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for União Agrícola Barbarense! In the 80th minute there was a penalty for Progresul Pitesti. Florin Logofătu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Carlinhos Galvão. 9-0. In the 83rdth minute of the game Vasile Blănaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but União Agrícola Barbarense's Carlinhos Galvão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chorache Tofiño took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlinhos Galvão. Carlinhos Galvão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. The audience was convinced that Leonard Moise's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carlinhos Galvão was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 92nd match minute, União Agrícola Barbarense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovani Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. When Progresul Pitesti's Vasile Blănaru in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye União Agrícola Barbarense's goalie prevented a goal. After 96 played minutes União Agrícola Barbarense got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Luz. There was no doubt that Progresul Pitesti were the better team. Progresul Pitesti's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
