The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 41 minutes into the game, Zhu Yue cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Martin Tudor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

52 minutes into the match, Los Gaticidas's goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Blănaru came free, but Claudio Umbruso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Tudor made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Gaudencio Paez sent off a good shot on target. Los Gaticidas's supporters rose to their feet, but Tití Fernandes Braga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Tudor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95thth minute of the game Zhu Yue who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Progresul Pitesti's Martin Tudor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Los Gaticidas's Tití Fernandes Braga got a free kick in the 96th minute. After 97 played minutes Los Gaticidas got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Rochemback. In the 98th minute Florin Logofătu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Umbruso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Gaticidas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
